Beautiful weather for our 5/12 Friday Night, joint fundraiser concert, at the Volga City Opera House, and our Music & Monarch Festival, on Saturday 5/13, paved the way for an over the top successful, and fun Music & Monarchs weekend.  The Clayton County CAN board of directors and the Music & Monarchs steering committee could not be more pleased with the outcome of Music & Monarchs 2017!  We are entirely grateful for the support of our sponsors, the generosity of the attendees, the musical genius of the 2017 band lineup, and the expertise of our exhibitors. For kids age one to 92, fun was had by all, and it is fair to say participants learned a little about conservation and land stewardship.  Stay tuned for our total fundraising report, and our plans to execute the Clayton County Conservation Awareness Network’s mission, “To create a unified voice, inspiring increased environmental awareness and land stewardship in Clayton County, Iowa.”
