The Central Community Global Science Class has been busy all semester working on various projects. Among these projects is a seed library which is being created for the community by Jasmine Mueller, Sam McGreal, and Jenna Jansen (pictured above). A lot of thought and planning has gone into the seed library, and they hope it will be put into place at the end of the year. It will be located at Osborne, and community members will be able to swap seeds through taking and leaving them at the location.

Currently, the seed library is a recycled school desk which has been painted. The students hope to obtain a filing cabinet which will be placed next to the desk to hold the seeds, and eventually use the desk to hold information cards, envelopes, and other various items needed for the library. In the near future, they also hope to develop a committee of dedicated gardeners who would be willing to help manage the library and provide guidance to both students and community members.
